Sup guys, so i had a pair of 7970's sitting here doing nothing for a long time, due to the fact that one day i turned my pc on and never got signal out of either of them, now years later i was thinking about it and how they 100% could not have been damaged just by me turning my PC on unless my PSU / MOBO was faulty, long story short, i opened them up, and found couple blown capacitors, my PSU blew capictors on both cards just trying to power on.... insane. Anyways from what i have seen, a blown cap is enough to make your GPU lose signal, My question is considering how perfect the cards look in condition, and how damn easy it is to solder on a new capacitor, do i have a good chance at bringing these babys back to life?
