i inserted the Flash Drive into USB port of pc and the drivers were installed.
In Disk management console I found that it was preformatted as FAT32 file system.
So i formatted it using disk management console, to NTFS file system.
Now my pc doesn't recognize it.
Wasn't i supposed to format it to NTFS?

What has happened? Did formatting ruin it?
i appreciate any advice/recommendations offered.
SanDisk support doesn't even answer me back, when i contact them about this.

Solution
you could try by reformat the drive by the diskpart
1-start - CMD
2-type diskpart
3-type list disk
4-chose the flash drive from the list - select disk #
5-type format fs=ntfs quick

Yes, this is a common problem with pendrives, i suggest you to format your pendrive again with another file system then it will work fine. If it is not recognized by your pc, try in some other PC or try to format in command mode.

iXeon and zara watson, thank you for your advice. itried to format it incommand prompt. Pc still does not recognize it. i tried it in two other commputers and got same result.
i was hoping to download Windows 10 using media creation tool.
I am thinking that the flash drive must be dead.
thank you anyway for your suggestions.
