This is just for me to expand my understanding.
I was looking for potential upgrades to my computer and saw that i could upgrade from a i5-4570 to a i7-4790 and saw comparisons to them both(in gameplay and benchmarks) and couldn't notice a difference, I know that the i7 has 4 more threads but what does that mean for overall work loads? I stream with my i-5 but can only handle 720p @ 60fps or 1080 @ 30 fps. Will upgrading the cpu to an i7 benefit or am I just wasting my time comparing them?

I also added a asus 2gb 960 but I'm not worried about that.
