I have 2 Desktops and one laptop(All run on Win7). I have all of them on the same homegroup.

I am able to share between my laptop and one of my desktops, but not with the other. It says the network path was not found. However, the name of the computer is shown on the Network Places. How to go about it?

Solution
Double check the homegroup configuration to ensure there are no typing mistakes in the setup. Look carefully.

If no errors are found then are still some other things you can try:

First check all physical connections - make sure that all of the cables are plugged in and fully secure.

Second, try using a different ethernet cable (or two even) for the desktop that cannot be seen.

Third, check the configuration settings on the desktop that cannot be seen. Verify that all configuration settings are correct.

Fourth, reinstall the network adapter drivers and reconfigure the desktop's network adapter as if new. Rejoin the homegroup.
