So, i had recently posted a thread asking why my games freeze up and drop frames very often, i had found out that at IDLE my CPU temps were at 50-60°C! I am using the stock cooler and i am running stock clock speeds. i am running nothing but google chrome and MSI afterburner (using afterburner to get temps) when gaming my temps go to about 70-75°C. My question is why is the stock cooler not doing its job correctly? or is this normal for AMD processors? i am buying an aftermarket cooler soon. My Heatsink is not filled with dust (I have cleaned it about a month ago with a can of air duster) Is it possible for a virus or something like that to cause this aswell?
(Edit): The ambient room temperature is about 18°C
My Build is:
AMD FX6300 clocked at 3.5Ghz
Asus M5A78L-M USB3MOBO
Asus 750ti
Kingston hyperX 4gb 1600mhz
