Hi. I was looking to buy a pre-built gaming PC, I know I should build my own but I'm lazy haha.
Anyways, I saw one by CybertronPC that caught my attention on Amazon, so I tried to see if another place has it for cheaper, and Bestbuy had it in stock. However, when I looked at the reviews on both sites, one review is exactly identical on both sites. One was written by "PCGamer" on Bestbuy and the other by "Kevin E." on Amazon. It's a literal copy/paste.

1 day later Cybertron responded to those reviews on both sites, saying the exact same thing except the name of the reviewer. This seemed REALLY sketchy, as if they are writing their own reviews.

I've never bought a PC before, and this one seemed good for it's price and has a Nvidia geforce gtx 960. But this company seems really shady, and I just wanted your opinions on this, or I'm just being stupid. And if you could kindly point me towards a good pre-built one, that'd be great. Oh and sorry if this is in the wrong section!

That is an extremely common practice.

Not unusual or surprising at all.

Their PCs are just thrown together, you need to look at each individual part and see what you think.

The problem with them is they might take a decent CPU, a decent GPU, and put it in a lower end mobo, with the dirtiest power supply they can find, a couple of RAM sticks from the bin of rejects that barely function together, throw em in a stamped steel and cheap plastic case, and ship em out.

You are going to have to do MORE work. prebuilts like that aren't for the lazy at all, in the long run you'll need to pull it out for repairs more often.
