First of all I'm a new builder and I'm still really new to everything.

Anyway I have this case "Thermaltake Versa H25 Tower Case with USB 3 Side Window and 12 cm Fan" from https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thermaltake-Versa-Tower-Case-Window/dp/B00OFR3362/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1465404372&sr=8-2&keywords=Thermaltake+Versa+H25+Tower+Case+with+USB+3+Side+Window+and+12+cm+Fan

I want a good cooler for my CPU that would fit in my case. My specs are

i7 2600k
GTX 970
And
Motherboard: AsRock B75M R2.0 Motherboard (Socket 1155, Intel B75, DDR3, S-ATA 600, Micro ATX, PCI Express 3.0, 5.1 Channel HD Audio, USB 3.0, AsRock Crashless BIOS)

I would also like to invest some good fans. How many fans should I get? Right now on idle I get 40-50c which is freaking hot. I'm googling and I see people with i7 2600k get around 20-30c on idle.

I really appreciate the help thanks. :)

Christ on a boat just checked delivery prices from that link.

It comes to nearly £50 with delivery & import!!!!!

Not a good buy at that really IMO.
Nightmare getting cryorig stuff in the UK.

simon1992 - you need to set a budget here mate , you certainly dont need to populate every slot in that case , apart from the fact you only have a single 4 pin case fan header on that board & it would mean running them full speed.

What GPU are you running in that system ??
CPU cooler height limitation: 155mm this is actually surprisingly short.

You should populate your fans, anything cheap with decent reviews will work fine, and have them spin at an inaudible speed.
Front (intake) :120 x 2
Rear (exhaust) : 120
Top (exhaust) :120x 2

Crorig H7

I have an H7, and regardless of its ability to cool, it looks and feels REALLY nice. I give it my vote for sure.

Best budget cooler on the market.

Simple installation video here ^

Unmatched Compatibility
Zero RAM Interference

Focusing on providing the widest range of
compatibility, the H7 utilizes an asymmetric slanted
heatpipe layout to move the heatsink away from the
RAM zone, Offering optimal compatibility for RAM
with tall heat spreaders on both Intel 115X and
AMD platforms.

Hi thanks what rpm and level shoudi set?
right not its set to level 5 and its very loud. What is normal RPM speed for cpu fan and fans?

I guess Under 60£? Honestly I don't know I just want a good one that would give me 30c on idle lol.
What do you mean full speed? What level? and what RPM should I aim to get?

Assuming the thermal take prefitted fan is 3 pin or molex & not controllable (& maybe noisy?)

2 of these for front intakes (have a built in splitter so can plug in your single 4 pin board header)

ARCTIC F12 PWM PST CO - 120mm Dual Ball Bearing Low Noise PWM Standard Case Fan with PST Feature - Ideal for Systems running 24/7 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007YLUC0Q/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_1Ofwxb9CJJZQD

1 of these for exhaust (own splitter again so can be synced with the cpu cooler fan)

ARCTIC F12 PRO PWM PST - 120mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing Low Noise PWM Controlled Case Fan with PWM Sharing Technology (PST) Feature & Anti-Vibration System https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00261HV2Q/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_FSfwxbKCWG0H4

You can remove your current fan & save it as a backup because those 2 intakes & single exhaust are plenty, they're good fans, very quiet & provide good airflow.

That leaves you around £40 for the cooler then.

Looking for a better source for the h7 for you now because its a good choice but hard to get hold of.

Honestly as good as the h7 is I xamt find it for much less than £50 , this is worth considering & effectively makes all the purchases from Amazon .
Its a good compact 120mm cooler , not as good as the h7 admittedly but still plenty good enough & keeps to the same black/white colour scheme

Thermalright True Spirit 120 Power Cooler https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GIO7BSG/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_g9fwxb7M4W6S7

You're more likely to see 35-40c idle temps (30c is just unrealistic with the hot spell were having at the moment)

thank you very much :D
on ASrock extreme tuning utlity I have Target fan speed at level 5. Target CPU team 65C/149F
Same with the Chasis Fan 1

Fan is around 1k RPM and CPU is around 2k Is that to much?

also why not these? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00650P2ZC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
jsut wondering they have nice reviews. What is the difference between yours and Noctua NF-F12PWM Case Fan 120 mm.

You will not be able to control the speed of more than 1 noctua case fan because you dont have sufficient 4 pin pwm controllable fan headers on your board.
You could use seperate fan splitter cables but the noctuas are close to .3a & it would be pushing it powering 2 from each board header.

The case fans I linked are .18a each , they have inline splitter link cables .
The 2 front fans you can plug together & they will synchronise speeds with each other.

The rear fan you can link to the CPU cooler fan & they will synchronise too.

Meaning at low load all the fans will run slow & quiet, under heavy load they will all speed up together.

Small case cooling with optimal airflow, a lack of pwm control headers & minimal noise are a speciality of mine - I am absolutely anal about fan noise mate, most of my builds now are living room htpc's so I have to be ;-)

Just found that, only 1 in stock - I would grab that (good compact cooler, very quiet) & the 3 fans I mentioned Mate .

Giving you my fsb settings would be pointless as my system is completely different.

Every fan ive mentioned runs between 450-1300rpm.

You could leave fan settings alone & they willbe very very quiet.

Your system is fairly noisy at the minute simply because the little stock Intel fan runs between 1200-2800rpm & you have no front intakes so it will be working overtime.

The old 2600k is a fairly toasty CPU & needs decent cooling.
