Speedfan is not giving me the option to control fans. No fan speed measurements are shown in the readings. Although temperatures are shown of the system components.

Using Noctua Industrial PWM 3000 rpm fans attached to the motherboard.

In the info tab it says CHIPSET : Intel Sunrise Point

When I press get config, I can't find my z170 motherboard in there.

In the Fans tab in Configure, there are no fans. I am using the latest beta version. The older one does not even detect the ChipSet.

I was using gigabyte SIV advanced smart fan to control fans originally.

Please help. Thanks

As of late Speedfan has been doing that with system based off of AMD's latest Vishera offering and Intel's Skylake platform. Is there any reason why you're not using Gigabyte's BIOS to tackle the fans?

Furthermore how did SIV go for you?

I'd ask you to update your BIOS at this point and see if any progress is made.

SIV works fine. I wanted to have more control over the fans. I ended up purchasing nzxt grid plus v2 and its basically what I needed.

Now my Case fans will accelerate based on GPU temperature. It stays silent when extra airflow not needed and keeps my case cool when I am using the GPUs to render

Also I don't really understand the bios fan settings.
