i just got hyperx cloud 2's and when i plug them with usb i get no sound or mic but when i plug in the cord into my jack i get sound or a working mic. the headset comes with a tool that plugs your headset into a mic and headphone jack when i use this i only get sound in one ear left or right. if i plug it in with the port to the left i can only hear out my left ear and if i plug it in to the right i can only hear out of the right ear... its very weird, and again if i plug my jack from my headset straight into the audio jack i can hear fine, but then i dont have a mic and thats the whole point of a headset, i need to ave my mic working and my sound any ideas? (btw the usb will never work i can already tell since my computer never detects things like razer mice or keyboards in programs so it has to be right into a jack.)

all the way to the left is the jack adapter they send that cause my sound to be through left or right

You're talking about the little rectangle on the left of the pic with two plugs sticking out, right? That's an airplane adapter. So you can use the headphones on certain airplanes which have the funky two-plug outlets for audio. When you use it on your computer, you are getting audio in only one ear because the other ear is plugged into the mic jack. (I'm surprised it even fit - that's a total coincidence.)

It sounds like you need an adapter which will separate out the mic and headphones from a single plug into two plugs.
