This is my pc = Acer Aspire m1935.
I am looking at a GTX 750 Palit.
My ram is currently 2GB, I need to upgrade it to at least 4 GB, but I dont know what rams are compatible with my motherboard.
Lastly I tried borrowing my friends GPU which was 750, it did fit but my pc only started and nothing was on screen just black. I guess I need to buy a PSU. For the processor, whats a good compatible one? Hope you guys help me. Please do inform me on all parts. GPU RAM PROCESSOR PSU

Hokay. So. According to this: http://ark.intel.com/m/products/53483/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G630-3M-Cache-2_70-GHz#@product/specifications

Your CPU uses a socket FCLGA1155, which is an LGA1155 essentially. It can support 2 sticks of DDR3, up to 32GB of RAM. An upgrade would be good. An i5 2500 or 3550 would be perfect, though a bit pricy since they're rare these days.

As for GPU, 750ti is a significant step anove the standard 750. They are also easy to find on Newegg and Amazon, and are affordable:

A few things we will need to know.

1. Do you know the model name of your motherboard? Downloaded CPUID and see if it will display.
2. What type and speed of RAM does it have? I would guess DDR3.
3. What processor model is installed?

Also, the PSU might nee an upgrade but we will see. I'm going to look up that model and track down some details.

If you upgrade your RAM, get at least 4GB, but you don't really need more than 8GB. Grab some simple sticks, just make sure they are reliable.

For PSU, you don't need anything crazy. This one is good, and is on sale. I'd grab it while the rebate is active: http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16817438082

The CPU will be the most expensive part. $360ish to get everything, 160 without the CPU. Not bad to be gaming. That's all new - you can find used parts too, just be careful of scams and broken parts. A used CPU would be way cheaper. The forums here and on tech sites have people selling and trading a lot.
