Ok so this is my first build, and I've tried lots of things to fix this issue. First, specs:
Corsair case
Gigabyte h170-d3hp
intel 15 6500 quad
Western Digital Blue Hardrive
Corsair 550w psu
Cruscial 8GB ram, ddr4
All of this is brand new, save for the psu that I bought a few months ago but haven't really used. The Hard drive is also from my last pc, with the drivers wiped and important files backed up on a different usb.
The problem is that the computer will start and run, but shuts off after 20 secs without even bringing up bios, then attempts to restart. I have tried unplugged/removing all components, and its still the same. I have tried different motherboards (same make/model, 2 of them, making sure I didn't just accidentally damage the first one.)
I have no extra stuff added. No extra gpu or cooling systems. Just the bare basics listed above. I have also looked at the site's power issue's troubleshooting sticky thread, and went through everything. Still, the problem persists. Any ideas?
And yes, I have the 4/8 power cord plugged in and everything. Even the power button cables are in the correct spots. All cables are tightly secured.
