Hello this is my first time building a PC and i was wondering if these components are good. I plan on getting two gtx 1070s or one gtx 1080 aftermarket cards once they come out. Please feel free to give me your opinion because im very inexperienced at this. Thanks in advance :)

With 1440p monitor games will run really well on that PC. You can create video content on the build without a problem but video rendering does require a good CPU which you have, but the better the CPU is the faster video will render.

Also this is gonna sound like a stupid question but i dont need a soundcard or a wireless adapter right?[/quotemsg]

You usually dont need a sound card but sometime headphones mic etc. will require then to use properly so i wouldn't bother unless you find you specifically need one. Wireless adapters are needed if you get your internet over wireless, if you have an Ethernet line to your PC then you dont need one but if you dont, then you will defiantly need the adaptor

This is a really good gaming build and with either GPU you have there your gonna be getting an easy 60+ FPS in 1080p for pretty much any game you play.

If your using a 4K monitor its going to be better to stick with the 1070s I think, the 1080 has reviews for it that say it has issues keeping a steady frame rate in 4K. Plus with the 1070 you can always just start with one and get another if you need it, you may decide that one is enough.

Thank you for the response :) I plan on playing games on a 1440p monitor so hopefully ill be able to to get 60+ fps on most games. This gaming build is also good for streaming video games and possibly creating video content right? Also this is gonna sound like a stupid question but i dont need a soundcard or a wireless adapter right?

Over spend on a few things , but good

You could spend $50 less on a mb and have the exact same performance , and use that to fit an M.2 drive [ samsung 951] which will be much faster than a SATA SSD

A GTX 1080 should be fine on a 550 wat psu
I would avoid the overpriced 'founders editions". That is just nvidia price gouging because they cannot get their chip yields to acceptable levels
