Hello everyone,
I just finished building my new gaming pc and I'm experiencing some issues with Heroes of the Storm. When I play, I tend to get unstable ping that varies from 90ms to 200ms, both with an ethernet cable plugged in and via wi-fi. I only play Heroes of the Storm, so I did not take time to check if ping is high in other games and apps as well.

I think the problem is within the new pc and I'll explain why: I ran HotS on a iMac I have and it pings 50ms, in a very stable way. The iMac was bought in 2011.

My motherboard is the M7 Z170A from MSI.

Can someone help?
Thanks to you all!

PS: Sorry if my English is not perfect, I'm from Italy and I'm pretty tired at the moment. :p

I have done as you said; ping is now stable during matches at something around 100 to 150ms.
Any way to improve this further?
What about buying a new network card to install onto my motherboard?

Yeah, that's kind of an option because the problem is the killer networking card build into the motherboard.

There's lots of PCIe network cards out there, it's just like installing a graphics card, there's not necesarilly any good features to look for in it.

Things today are going way better. Built-in ping meter in HotS says 65ms, but it feels like it's like what I am used to. Thanks for the fix James, I guessed it worked out fine.

Have a good day!
