I currently have an audiotechnica AT2020 xlr microphone with a focusrite scarlet solo audio interface and i have bayerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 ohm headphones.
I'm having a problem where when i record my voice on a program like audacity or if i just playback my microphone through my headphones in the sound settings, I can only hear my voice in my left ear. This problem is bugging me and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions why this is happening.
Also im on windows 8 if that helps.
Thanks.

Then there's a problem in the mic, or in the way you are recording. Keep it a little away from your face, I think your breathing is distorting the sound.

Or get a good recording/playback software and turn on the noise cancellation.

The right speaker probably has a loose wire. Send it in for repair. Or if you aren't worried about opening your headphones, do it yourself. It's very easy.
