A friend of mine had a custom PC built and cannot use all of his optical drives simultaneously. I think it is the CPU, but this is outside my wheelhouse so I really don't know. He is using MakeMKV to rip DVDs but when he tries more than 2, it fails. What exactly is the bottleneck? He has asked me to build him a new computer, but until I know the problem, I will not proceed.
