It would probably look something like this then:

I think £100 is too low, it depends for what u are using it, If is a internet mashine is ok, but dont expect much from £100. and please don buy courses to learn how to build a pc, on youtube you can find lots of good videos how to build a pc.

It would be very tough to find all the necessary component, even used, for that price. For a starter system though, you could look into something like the Raspberry Pi 3, Pine 64 or ODROID-C2.....any of which would get you a basic computer, and quite powerful considering all in (say minus a monitor) could easily be had for under £100.

Many of those, among others:

http://www.internetgeeks.org/tech/top-5-raspberry-pi-alternatives-in-2016/

can be found in kits and great instructions, so you don't have to assemble all the parts yourself.

Look into 2nd hand shops. If it is only for the learning experience, buy something dirt cheap, assemble it. I can get a old pentium dual core for 5 bucks where i live. So it is possible to make a complete computer, you have to hit the 2nd hand market. It is possible to build a pc for 100, without the monitor.

Try computer repairing shops.

Total: £102.12
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

This uses integrated graphics, but you could add a very small dedicated card later to get experience in installing one.

that is brilliant :) doesnt look like it could install a brilliant graphics card but its cheap enough to buy the parts and install all myself to get the hang of building my own. this looks like it would run windows 7 am i right?

Oh sure, it would.....but I would recommend a much lighter operation system:

http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop

https://getfedora.org/workstation/

http://www.pendrivelinux.com/

Much less resource intensive, and so will be a snappier system overall without Windows.

And the one thing.....the first thing, I'd upgrade on this system would be the hard drive:

For £100, of course there are some compromises in equipment selection, but adding a SSD would be night and day different in how this system performs. And a GPU too to take pressure off of system RAM.....something as simple as this would do just fine:
