I'm building my first PC now my laptop's hard drive packed it in and I'm not needing a laptop any time soon. I'm aiming for value for money, so if you have any suggestions where I could save a bit of money, that'd be great. I play games, and while I would like to be able to play games like Witcher III and Shadow of Mordor at good resolutions, it doesn't need to be excessive.

I've put it through PCPartPicker's compatibility check and it had no issues, but I was wondering if I've made any mistakes (sizes, CPIe slots) or if there are any changes you guys would suggest? Any help would be appreciated!

It's mediocre quality. Would get 550W or more. Would pick up a tier 1 or tier 2:

Read up on the GPU's. The Founders version of the GTX 1070 goes on sale first for about $480+ I think. The 3rd party versions will probably be a bit better and cheaper starting about $380+ and will go on sale later. The AMD RX 480 will start at $200 and will be a little better than the GTX 970.
Would wait for the AMD RX 480 (~$200) or the nVidia GTX 1070 (~$400.)

Would get a better PSU:

I can't comment on the network adapter.

You could get faster memory which may help some games:

I like these 2800 sticks at only 1.2V:
