Hi i am looking to buy a new computer with dual cpu for media work and gaming.
Im looking at either a HP Z800 with dual xeon x5650 and 98 Gb ddr3 ecc ram or a custom build dual xeon e5-2637 v3 (watercooled) with 32 Gb of ddr4 ram. Also the last mentioned build uses Asus Z10PE-D8 WS motherboard that supports overclocking and sli which i believe the hp z800 does not but instead supports several quadro cards i believe though.
However i can not figure what the best option is.
Any advice is apreciated.

Thanks in advance
Also sorry if this is the wrong category for my question but could not see where it belonged best - hope you can forgive me as im new to online forums. :p

ECC RAM should only ever be used for servers. A good portion of the memory is reserved for error-checking.
Dual CPUs will not improve your gaming performance. Current games won't use 8+ cores. Even with DirectX 12, it's just not worth it. It's better to get a single, powerful CPU and better GPU(s).
