What is normal cpu usage for an i5 6500?

I recently built myself a new pc. Running an i5 6500. It works great but the CPU usage seems to be higher than I thought it would be, and I'm not sure if that's an issue. My last build had an i7 so I'm not sure, maybe this is just how a non hyper threaded processor runs. In games I'm using about 50-60% cpu (on overwatch, wow, and heroes of the storm). YouTube also seems to be using a nice amount of cpu. A 1080p 60 fps vid uses anywhere from 25-35%. Ive been monitoring my background processes and I've made sure that it is indeed YouTube and my games using the CPU and nothing else running. Is this normal performance for an i5?

Yes. Perfectly normal. The i7 being hyperthreaded the OS saw it as 8 cores. If a process is able to fully utilize, say, two [strike]cores[/strike] threads, you would see this as 50% cpu usage on an i5(2/4) and 25% usage on an i7 (2/8).
