MY GTx 750 tI 4GB needs 6 pin,
and, I only see a slot that looks like a smaller version of the pcie
It looks like a SATA, but has 2 sections, like the long bus for graphics cards.

Do I use a cable adapter (with a 6 pin end)?

The tower is a Hp 6000 Pro Microtower, and has the PSU right.

2) I have a VGA to VGA cable for a LED monitor, https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00GI2UR6Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.

And, my graphic card's DVI I is busted. I would have to use the cards socket to connect to my monitor, so can I use the DVI D or HDMI, instead?

Solution

1. Well, there's a reason your PSU does not have a 6-pin connector. That supply is only a 240W unit, which is just enough to power the whole system without adding any graphics cards requiring additional power.
You'll have to slot in a new, more powerful (350-400W) power supply for it to work.
2. You won't be able to connect to your monitor using VGA over the remaining DVI port. I'm also very skeptical about converters claiming to convert HDMI to VGA, since the one is digital and the other is analog.
Without the DVI-I connector, you're looking at a monitor upgrade so that you can at least use the HDMI.

Yes. That system has a long PCI-Express x16 slot. Use this one for the GTX 750ti

If your system does not have a PCI-E power connector, please use an adapter. The 750 is a lower power card, you should be o.k

If you have a VGA cable, you have to use VGA. Use a DVI-VGA adapter to do this.

No, he has a 320Watt or 26AMP power supply

The GTX needs 25 amps. He should be o.k

Hmm, maybe I had the wrong system then, as I saw 240W.
No matter.

Does that mean I dont need a 6 pin power, but can use just the long pcie?
So, I only have to properly connect the DVI D to VGA using a converter?
Thanks so far.

You have to connect the 6-pin power. It has to be connected

Use a VGA to DVI adapter and stick it in the DVI-D slot you said was not broken.
