Hello,

My HDD broken down like a week ago (my SSD is running my OS) and i need to buy new one. I have looked multiple HDD's but cant decide what to order. Do you have any suggestions?

It needs to be 2TB and price range is less than 150 €

Examples: Western Digital 2TB WD Blue, 3.5", SATA III, 5400rpm, 64MB (bothers the 5400rpm)

Seagate 2TB Barracuda, SATA III, 7200RPM, 64MB (People seem to hate Seagate)

2TB HDD, SATA III, 7200 RPM, 64MB (out of stock in Finland)

Western Digital 2TB WD20EFRX, WD Red NAS-kiintolevy, 3.5",SATA lll, IntelliPower, (doesn't tell rpm)

PS: Does all HDD fit to all motherboards or is there any things to it should or shouldn't have (and yes.. im stupid with computers and spelling)

Solution
get any one that is SATA III with 7200rpm speed.
I would recommend buying a factory recertified drive
as they have always been great for me. And get the
biggest capacity drive you can for your money.
Go to your favorite site and check out the ratings and buy the best one
