As the title states, i would like to know if my Mobo supports the newest Generation of Pascal Graphic Cards from Nvidia.

Here in Germany the Online Retailers have been marketing with Nvidia GTX 1070 to merely cost just 499 Euros. I would buy that kind of Card instead of GTX 970 or 980. That's roughly the same Price.

ps.: My PSU is an Antec 620W Bronze 80+, so it's powerful enough to handle any Single GC.

Thanks for the answers in advance.

Alright Thanks, i knew already that the Pascal Generation of Nvidia would be more Energy efficient than the prior Generations.
I was only concerned if my Mobo is gonna support the GTX 1070. I'm planning on getting the MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G.

Kudos mate

It's not compatibly man, i speak from brazil and put my gtx 1070 on this fking motherboard, and doesn't recognize it! I mean, if i put on the blue slot i don't even get video, the pc only boots up from Onboard VGA.

Then i inserted the GPU in the x4 black slot, and puf! It worked without any issues, but only at x4 data rate. I use a PSU Corsair TX950W, i tested the GPU on other computers(in at least 15 computers to be exactly!) And it works flawless! Perfect! I can play games using the second slot, but it made me change my opnion about asus motherboards, i'll never buy another mobo from asus again!

Funny it works fine for other people.........
Either your board is bad, bent pins, or needs a BIOS update.
