I had a dual boot of yosemite on one HD and windows on the other

Tried to upgrade to el capitan through the app store but it would start installing and just restart back into yosemite so I wiped the mac HD and decided to prepare a usb stick in windows 10 with transmac

I tried the official app store el capitan app and used installesd.dmg rebooted my pc, set boot priority to the usb stick. Screen goes black for half a second then windows starts

Thought it might be the download to I tried it with el capitan macpwn version and the exact same thing is happening.

Anybody know why?

Solution
OK, now we're getting somewhere.

It is a violation of forum rules to provide assistance with the installation of OS X on non-Apple hardware, so this is where I bow out.

You answer neither of my questions. I'll separate them to make it easier.

1. Forget how you made the USB stick, how did you configure your Mac to boot from it?

2. What model of Mac do you have and what year is it?

My initial post states that I wiped my hd I had running osx on and am using a dual boot system ( I assume people knew you can do that with a pc), therefore I am not running osx at the moment, only windows 10. Thought that was pretty clear but I guess I didnt explain well enough.

You still haven't answered the most important question. What model and year is your Mac? You really can't expect people to guess these things.

Different models of Mac contain different hardware, so this is essential information before people can offer assistance.

That's weird, I've seen a bunch of hackintosh forums on this site with no problem
