Hello, recently, I bought a Avermedia Live Gamer Extreme, however, when I installed the drivers and software, it wouldn't detect the capture card, and neither would OBS. I've been looking into how to fix this, and I've seen that some people have fixed it by reinstalling Windows, but I'd rather not resort to that. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

EDIT:
CPU: AMD FX-4300 Quad-Core 3.8GHz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970
Memory: 8GB (2x4) DDR3 RAM
Mobo: MSI 760GM-P34(FX) (MS-7641)
OS: Windows 10 64-bit

Additional Peripherals: Line6 POD UX2 Audio Interface, Razer Naga mouse

Note: I haven't updated my BIOS, as from what I've heard, it isn't exactly the easiest thing to do for a newbie like me. I've also tried other solutions, like running the driver installer as an admin, or updating it via Device Manager, but even then it said it was either up to date, or error code 10, depending on which method I used.

1| When dealing with troubleshooting threads, please make sure to add you full system's specs inclusive of your OS and connected peripherals.
2| Have you made sure your BIOS and remaining device drivers are up to date?
3| You should also include the model of your Avermedia capture card.

Alright, I updated it a bit. As far as I know, all my drivers are up to date, the only thing being that I dare not even try to update my BIOS, being a newbie and all.
