My virus won't let me into safe mode. Tried a bunch of times nothing please help!

I tried tapping f8 holding down shift button after hitting restart everything this virus literally won't let me ge rid of it! I'm on day 2 of doing this idk what to do! I tried recovery from an earlier point before the virus, nope it won't let me. Even got so desperate to fix this tried resetting to factory settings losing everything still virus won't let me do that either please help!

Easiest option in this situation is to try a 'rescue disk'.

You'll need access to a working PC with a DVD write on it though (or it may be possible to do with a USB drive but that's more difficult to get working).

I've had success with the Kaspersky Rescue Disk (there are others as well- you may need to try a couple to find one that gets the virus).

Download and burn that to a disk, and then set your machine to boot from optical drive first. It will load directly from the disk which prevents the virus from interfering and then allows you to remove it.

Hi,

if you use windows 8 or 10, you have to hold down the shift button while pressing restart in the menu
