Ok, hello everyone. I'm building my first gaming rig, I have more than half the parts purchased and plan to finish it in a month or two. But I really want to get a nice set of sleeved cables. I'll most likely get them from Ensourced, the trouble is I don't know exactly what cables and how many of each I need. Such as the 20 pin, or 20+4 pin? How many SATA cables? Etc.

This is my build.

Solution
As you are taking your time with your build and a nice one at that, get the kit for your PSU and if you need extra sleeve cables then work out what extras you need that are not in the kit to complete the build. I chose to purchase a kit for my PSU and sleeved my own extras for experience.

BTW; I noticed in your build log that you have listed 2 kits of 16GB DIMMs. Do not mix DIMM kits even of the same spec. Buy a single kit of 32GB.

Solution
Well it is in the DIMM manufacturing process. Kits are tested by the factory for module consistency and matched together. Two kits that are not matched may work with some Bios Tweaks but most fail to work together. It can be frustrating and not worth the headache.
Try to return the ones you bought or keep them for a spare set.

Ah...:/ hmmm... well again thank you. These are things I wouldn't think of being being a first time builder. I'll most likely just use this set for now, and upgrade to 32 when Vega launches, as I plan on getting that on launch. 16 should still be plenty for now. I also plan on getting a Godlike motherboard at some point, and I'll probly throw all these extra parts into my next build down the line. I want to do one in an Air 540.
