After having spent a night on my computer, I went to bed and turned it off. However when I woke up to turn it on it didn't work. I have tried and tested two PSU and it still turns on for 1 sec and dies or doesn't turn on at all. I have tried a new mobo and that doesn't work. However it does work when I pull out my gpu(gtx 970). What is wrong with it please?

Parts:
Fx 8320
1x4gb ddr3
500watt corsair
Cooler master evo 212
Some gigabyte mobo

*forgot to mention that GPU light and fans flicker

I tried another older GPU. Its a really weak one that takes power from the mobo. And it worked with that. If my gtx 970 is broken then I am so fucked. Is there a warranty for it or something. How did it even break. Freaking MSI

You probably need to upgrade your power supply. If you're stressing your power supply to the max it can fail over time. How many amps are on the +12V Rail?

A voltage "rail" refers to a single voltage provided by the PSU. You can check how many amps are on your +12V rail by looking at the sticker on the side of your power supply. Most Corsair 500W power supplies only have 34-38 Amps on the +12V rail.

Most GTX 970's require 42A (42 AMPS) on the +12v rails. If your power supply doesn't meet these requirements, the power supply will keep shutting itself down or fail. Even if it worked for a while, it doesn't mean it will keep working.

As noted above, it could very easily be a power supply that's been stressed for a long period. They all have +12V rails, that's not exactly the question.
