I'm thinking of upgrading my gpu from an r9 290 to a fury x but I want to know if anyone else at the same sort of clock speeds has experienced bottlenecks, if your an intel fan boy then I dont care what you have to say I want to hear from other people with the same cpu overclocked if your just going to tell me to go intel then your comments aren't appreciated

Solution

get a 1070 its much better for the price
its cheaper and faster than the fury x
you want a gpu now its the best you wont get full power from it but it will last you longer for when you one day do a cpu upgrade

I have the same processor and the same overclock. I do think I am hitting some bottlenecks now with my R9 280X. I will give you the same advice as another guy that was looking to upgrade DON'T! If AMD's new Polaris cards are what they say they are you will get fury performance for $200. I'm also looking forward to the Zen CPUs that should be out later this year.

Depends on the game in some games yes. My 6350 at 4.7ghz bottlenecks my 760 in gta v and fallout 4 believe it or not, nothing severe games are still perfectly playable but I get higher cpu usage than gpu useage. So far it has been only those two games.
