Please help with upgrading old PC

Hello, I'm currently running Radeon HD 7700 with a AMD Phenom II X4 850 (yeah, it's pretty old and bad). I might have money to upgrade my GPU to GTX 960 but I wonder if my CPU will bottleneck the GPU. If it will, can you please recommend a card that will suit my PC. Thanks in advance.

In your case i'd recommend building a new rig if you have budget. But if you want to do with what you have, i'd recommend you a gtx 750ti or gtx 950 at best. This upgrade would give you "decent" FPS in many games with like medium detail settings and your experience in the newest games may not be good at all. Your CPU would be a big hold back
