Hi, so recently I spilt a cup of tea near my keyboard (it was all on my desk) and after I had cleaned it all up, I noticed that a few of my keys on the left side of my keyboard were sticking and not working properly. I have tried everything such as using alcohol and hot water. I have fixed every key except the 1 key and the control key. The control key is pretty much fine (doesn't click anymore but not too bothered) but after about 1 day of drying, the 1 key works fine but catches on its way back up and so it takes about 1 second to pop back up. I'm not sure if it the spring but once it passes the tactile bump that blue switches have it seems to pop back up.

I have been reading about this and I have came to the conclusion that I need some keyboard lubricant. As I am in the UK, the only lube that I can find that will do the job is some DeoxIT. The problem is, it is £20 and I don't have that money to spend.

If anyone has had this problem and has used some lubricant for their switches in the past, be sure to let me know which lubricant it is and how well it worked!

Thanks, Kyle
