Hello to community i am going to bring back to life my old ddr2 pc, to work needs only new power supply but the specs are crap, now specs are: CPU Intel Core 2 duo 4300 SLA5G Malay 1.8GHz/2M/800/06, 2gb ram (4x512) and no graphics card on, and the problem with graphics card is that the slot supports only ADD2. So my plans are to put a new cpu XEON X5460, Quad Core, 3.16GHz, 12 MB L2 CACHE, 1333 MHZ BUS, a power supply 300W"minimum", a HDD 500GB, 3-4 SilentiumPC Zephyr 40 System Fans, 4GB ram (4x1) and a ADD2 Graphic Card but i need 1GB at least... my questions are: Does this upgrade worth it? if yes are this things good for the upgrade? if someone have any better suggestions please tell me will help me a lot all this upgrade will cost me 190-200euro.

Any answer will help me. Thanks in advance.

That business PC doesn't support Quad processors; how will you modify it to make the Xeon compatible? Modded BIOS? You can't install a PCIe x16 GPU; therefore you're limited to a PCI GPU which probably isn't worth it. Personally I wouldn't bother and I definitely wouldn't spend that much money.

For 200 Euros, you should be able to buy a much better used PC

My socket is 775 and the xeon is 771 i find modded xeon to fit in 775 and with bios i have a friend who can help me, about gpu even me not sure about that an another plan for me is start build a DDR4 part part because I have many expenses this time and i cant save much money. If you can sent me some pc quad core ddr3 only intel that are cheap and can run crysis 3
the minimum ι was grateful.

I'd really like to tell you that your upgrade plan will work. Being able to fit the CPU in the socket doesn't imply it's supported; in this case it most likely won't work because a modded BIOS doesn't exist (at least I didn't find one) and the VRM isn't good enough (the reason why Quad cores never were available with that model). You can't modify that old business PC to turn it into a gaming system and your low budget doesn't allow you to build a new DDR4 system.

The best solution is to find a used PC that meets both your requirements and budget.

but i dont know how to search the right type of ram any help for that?

What's the purpose of the SilentiumPC Zephyr 40? They are very noisy and I can't figure out where you'd use them. The case includes one 120 mm exhaust fan at the rear and you can add 2 more intake 120 mm fans at the front. I'd consider a better PSU, but I don't know what's available in your country. It's a Tier 4 on this list http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html but you probably can find a better one for not a whole lot more.

Your budget obviously is not limited to 200 Euros.

I learned everything about pc hardware before 3-4 days i decided to do all these (a big thanks to Techquickie by the way) i didnt know till now every case has his own diameter for fans and about the SilentiumPC Zephyr 40 i thought smaller and high rpm is better and i choose silent at the filters but i dont look how much noise it gonna does i check for new. Obviously my budget is not for my pocket  but as they said "that you pay that you take"

well thanks for your help all the corrections and your time i do a new threat about the build and what more i need or what ram and psu have a nice Day/Noon/Afternoon/Night :)
