CPU Cooler Losing Water

I own a swiftech 240x prestige edition and it's only 2 weeks old. I've noticed significant drops in water levels over the use and the water line has dropped down half of what it used to be. I've noticed during shipping the styrofoam was a bit moist, but i assume it's probably due to the fact that the jostling of shipping an item from downstate would cause. I've also noticed there is steam in the cooler, even though the CPU is not even hot yet to the touch. I felt around my components to make sure no liquid got on it but it was suspiciously devoid of liquid.

Solution
If the packaging was damp and you're noticing dropping water levels, I recommend you cease using it immediately and RMA or return it. A single drop of liquid in the wrong place onto components is enough to kill them.

I'm going to place a towel on my components to see if it's evaporation or a water leak.

The warranty from the seller does expires tomorrow, i contacted customer support and they didn't respond. And yes, it's not evaporation.

It's not evaporation in only 2 weeks. You have a leak somewhere. No worries, Swiftech will take care of you, I'd give them a call.

Swiftech uses standard trueflex PVC tubing so evaporation should be minimal over time. Call them up and see what they say.
