I recently upgraded my RAM to 8gb (2x4gb sticks, matched set) of ddr3 pc3 12800. Running win 7 64 bit. At first reboot it wouldnt boot proper or shut down right. 2nd boot i had a black screen for 2 mins after the windows logo then it booted up. Seems to be mostly running fine now except....

Having some system lag troubles. Specifically, when starting a browser and going to a page, it lags for sometimes up to 30 seconds before the page loads. Also have the system lag during browsing. This never happened before hand. Its not my internet because it doesnt do it on my other 2 computers. When i upgraded i removed the old RAM as the sets were 2 different speeds so the only ram installed is the new stuff.

It also may be a video card thing. I went to refresh the rating index for my system after i installed the ram and during the video test section (which now takes a long time) it doesnt finish and gives me an error and closes but doesnt say the error.

Anyone have any experience here i would appreciate some feedback please.

Yup ive put the old RAM back in and everything works fine. Off hand i cant remember the motherboard spec but the ram is DDR3 pc3 12800 1600mhz. when i checked the board specs it said it was compatible, its an i5 core board. Im gonna chalk it up to being bad ram unfortunately
