good and cheap 650w or 750w psu?

Solution
Other than the Corsair RM and the eVga G2, this is the cheapest Psu I'd recommend:

Saves a bit of money, and: "Kitguru says: Well built, decent performance and aggressively priced." So a solid unit as well.
Your rig under full throttle is about 175W, gaming load is more like 125W. With a 1080, it's about a 300W system under full throttle, 250W gaming load about. You don't need a "650W" or "750W" PSU - and even "650W" and "750W" are very generalized numbers. There is no standardization by which labelled wattage is made. If you can get a "450W" PSU that has better ripple suppression and voltage stability under different load scenarios than some competing 750W PSU, why would you not? You are wasting money if you want to spend a ton on a 650W or 750W PSU, which won't even be efficient at all with a 150W-250W rig, causing your electricity bill to actually be a bit higher in addition to the initial cost of the PSU.

There is no benefit to getting a quality "650W" or "750W" PSU over a quality 450W or 550W unit, for instance. There is no such thing as extra power being stored - all that really matters is how the voltage outputs behave and the build quality. One good option is the Corsair RM550x - will be better than the EVGA 750 B2 even though its labelled wattage is 200W lower. That's because labelled wattage really doesn't mean much ;)

The EVGA 550 G2 I think is about $65 on Newegg after a rebate. Might want to snag that.

Ok everyone this is the psu i have now:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ATX-500-B-500W-PC-Power-Supply-Black-With-24-Pin-3-x-SATA-12CM-Silent-Fan-/401055758695?hash=item5d60c93967:g:-sYAAOSwqrtWmSZw&clk_rvr_id=1044349551055&afsrc=1&rmvSB=true it has no pcie power ports which is the reason i need to upgrade

Here are some good choices:

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/compare/antec-power-supply-hcg620m,evga-power-supply-220g20550y1,seasonic-power-supply-ssr550rm,xfx-power-supply-p1550bbefx/

The G2 is probably the best, but the Antec would be fine if you need to save the money.

Honorable

Harsh but so true. If I was spending over 500 quid on a graphics card, I want every bit of protection available to PSU's in my PSU lol.

that is because I have £610 and i'm not getting anymore in a while so i need to save money and i'm desperate for a gtx 1080.

Save up some more money then, or get a 1070 which is only 20% worse and 60% of the cost. of the price.. A GTX 1080 is minimum £600 so £10 for a PSU is means no options whatsoever.
