I've had this card for a while now , bought it new , and I always thought it's a bit too slow for the raw specs it has (2GB of DDR5 at 128bit).Been seeing benchmarks on the internet of it and everywhere it is performing much better.I am not bottlenecked , when I run games the GPU is 100% load and the CPU is chilling (I have a FX6300 and 8GB DDR3 RAM and a 500W PSU).A simple example would be fallout 4.I installed on my SSD , launched and set ir on lowest settings and it was barely playable (around 25FPS) (I got a 1080p monitor) , meanwhile on youtube people have 30FPS on high settings , why is that? Any help is welcomed .

We are not being merciless or trying to be mean at all. We are just being straight-up honest with you. If you want better gaming performance, buying a 750Ti would have been your best bet for $100.
Specs really mean nothing. What is special about 2GB DDR5? What makes a card powerful is its architecture and amount of shaders, cores, etc.

GPU load should be at 100% (always if Vsync is off, only if under 60FPS and Vsync is on). That means it is working as hard as it can. There is nothing you can do but get a better graphics card. You have a low-end card.

Why the people on Youtube have 30FPS? Well, for one thing, they are not in the exact same situation in the game. Looking at a city vs looking down a road may be a totally different load. The people on Youtube are probably using different game settings also. Or their card is clocked differently.

They showed the settings and they're not staring at a wall , they're playing it , and I played those moments too , I'm not saying my card should perform like a GTX 1080 , I'm asking why isnt it performing as well as its clones? Is she....special?

Their computer isn't going to be exactly the same. Do they have the same exact RAM, CPU, and everything? Is their GPU overclocked? Is it the exact same clock rate as yours?

Actually if you owned a better CPU like an overclocked I5 or an I7 you would get better FPS. Just because something is not "bottlenecking" does not mean there is no more room for FPS improvements from higher frequency memory, a better CPU, etc.

Also, as I keep saying, their GPU is probably a different clock rate..

There are different cores of the CPU. The utilization of those cores is what matters. And even then, if you take two CPUs, both are at, say, under 50% utilization of each core, but one CPU is more modern and powerful, that CPU machine will get better FPS. You can see benchmarks where an I7-6700K, for instance, gets better FPS than an I5-6500. Both are not bottlenecking, but the I7 does better. One of the reasons for this is that CPU % is an average over a span of time. When it comes to computers, we can be talking about microseconds of changes in load where one CPU may perform better than the other.

And again, in Youtube their GPU is probably a different clock speed than yours. Or settings are not the exact same. Or a different OS, different driver version, etc.

I've used this GPU both at stock clock and with a slight overclock (stresstested) so I doubt the clock has something to do with it.The classic but true thing about the much better performance per core of intel may have something to do with it , although I doubt it would be this impactfull in games.I will test this theory if I'll be able to using the GPU on an intel rig and seeing how it behaves there. Now I'll reiterate my question , why would a GPU , any , under any circumstances , ignoring any other components , work worse than it should.

It's not, it's working exactly as it should.

FX6300 and 2GB VRAM on a 128-bit memory bus == a very low end system. Your video card is the major bottleneck here. If you want better performance you must upgrade that video card. Although, that CPU isn't doing you any favors either. Those are the solid gold facts.

best idea for this system is a good cooler for overclocking as that chip can hit 5ghz and a 960 or r9 480

That would be a wasteless effort, and his motherboard probably couldn't even support that. What's the use of OC the CPU when he has a GT 740 that is the real slowdown of his system?

i said a new gpu....
the idea is temporary untell he can get a new cpu

"His motherboard can't even support that"...that hurt dude... I got a decent asus mobo and an aftermarket cooler and I keep it at 4.5Ghz cuz I don't wanna fiddle the voltages. All those being said , I decided to call it a closed case since afterall I'll be going to collage this year and will take a laptop ...good bye toaster PC...for which I've worked a lot really...you guys are being mercyless in your judgement , not everyone can affor i7s or even an i5.Anyway thanks for the feedback.
