Hi, I am getting the Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD and I need some advice on what files to move to my HDD so I can keep read/write to a minumum. I know that I will be keeping documents pictures etc on my hard drive but what else is there to move? Thanks.

Solution
1. Trying to keep read/write to a minimum is nothing to worry about. Especially Read.
Current consumer grade SSD's will mostly outlive everything else. It will be obsolete due to size long before it actually wears out.

2. Doc/music/video/downloads. Those are what really take up space.

Don't worry about anything else.

Keep all you can on the SSD for better performance.
That is what you bought it for.
Once it starts to fill up, say at85% then move large sequential files such as videos and backups to the hard drive where performance is not impacted.
And,rejoice with large reads and writes to the ssd. You are getting what you paid for.
Endurance is o issue with a 240gb ssd so long as you are under 90% full.

If you google for ssd "tweaks" Ignore them.
They might have been applicable many years ago when a ssd was 40gb, but not today.
