The G3258 is another choice, especially if your motherboards supports some overclocking:

Unfortunately it falls well behind the i3-41xx CPU's though you can close the gap quite a bit if you overclock.

See the Discrete GPU benchmark above which shows the G3258, the G3258 OC'd, and the i3-4360 (i3-4360 and i3-4170 should be identical... not sure what the difference is.)

update: the i3-4160 is the same as the i3-4170 but has a slightly better GPU (you'd likely use a graphics card instead like a GTX750Ti or whatever)
