I'm thinking about buying a Dell Precision T5500 because it was cheap and had some nice hardware, however i was wondering if i can put the motherboard into a new case.

For those who want to know it included a
2x xeon E5650 6 core Processors
24GB DDR3 RAM
2x nVidia Quadro NVS 295 (will replace these)
256GB Solid State Drive

Solution
Looks a proprietary motherboard & PSU - not likely to be easy to move to a new case.

You'd likely need adapters for a 'normal' ATX PSU, which you'd need in a new case.

Doable, absolutely. Whether it's worthwhile though, is another question altogether.
