We activated our service and I need to know what splitter I should plug into the Comcast line.

I do not want to be sent a tech to do a simple cable Job, but I dont know my self since there is a satellite involved. What can I do?

Solution
Turns out the only thing coming in was Comcast voice and satellite mess, along with a few cut coax cables. I'm not gonna run another wire they'll have to do it. Comcast never brought a digital TV/internet package here before.

A solution for this problem is simply connecting the main Comcast line to a house splitter.

Comcast and satellite do not go together.

You 'activated' your service...how, exactly?
What equipment is on the side of your house?
What equipment, if any, did Comcast send you?

OK, there is a rats nest of random wires.
Where do they all go?

One of those comes from the street. Which one?
And connects to some coax splitter, to distribute that signal through the house.
Do you also have TV from Comcast?

From those pics, it is quite literally impossible to tell you where a modem/router inside the house should connect to.
