Ok so easy question, building a PC for my little sister, shes not gonna overclock so the K is a waste in general, buying the CPU from a friend so the price difference is about 25 pounds, would there be a noticable difference when gaming on a 3570k compared to 3470. The graphics card im gonna be using is GTX 770.

Thank you!

Why get either? The Intel 6th generation is becoming very affordable, which will pose two advantages:

1. Better performance
2. More support over time (for example, in a few years, if your 3rd gen CPU breaks, it'd be really hard to find a replacement)

Another good option is the 4th gen series from Intel, which is becoming older, but is still great, and has a few good years left.

Anyway, as for your question, you're basically comparing an i5 with overclocking capability to an i5 without overclocking capability (and the one that can be overclocked is .2 GHz faster, but it really doesn't matter). So think, will our little sister, who barely needs any CPU power in the first place, need an overclockable CPU? I think the answer is no. Save the 25 pounds man.
