Hi Guys, I am having a serious and annoying problem here. There is constant voltage fluctuation in my house and sometimes when i am gaming my PC just restarts and at that time my UPS is still giving backup but after the restart and startup it says " Asus Anti Surge has been detected to protect from unstable power supply" I am really confused guys..is my ups not handling Power Surges or is it the problem with my PSU. need help...

My PC Config:

ASUS M5A78-LM-USB3
AMD FX 6300(NOT OVERCLOCKED)
AMD RADEON R9 380 4GB (NOT OVERCLOCKED)
SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200 500GB HDD
KINGSTON HYPER X FURY 8GB DDR3
" ZEBRONICS 700W PLATINUM PSU"
IBALL UPS 600VA

Solution
I have never heard of both your PSU and also your UPS. Some UPS will regulate voltages and output clean voltage and current. Some UPSs don't. In any cases, I strongly recommend to get a name brand PSU like Seasonic or Corsair, and get a better UPS. I personally use Cyberpower 1350 PFCLCD. It's a great unit for my systems. Check it out online.

The configuration above cant be handled by a 600Va UPS on gaming load. You definitely need to upgrade your UPS to a 1000VA or higher capacity UPS from a reputed brand for example APC. Regarding your PSU, ZEBRONICS is a cheap Indian branded PSU maker which could have avoided in your PC configuration. If you continue to face power problems even after upgrading to a higher capacity UPS you need to replace your PSU to a higher quality PSU from Seasonic, Antec etc

How much power(Voltage) does an ASUS STRIX R9 380 4GB requires when its overclocked and in full load? so that i can buy PSU accordingly.

There is no point in having a UPS for "protection" if your PSU is very dangerous as is. I advise you to replace that. With your system, a quality 450W unit would do. Since there aren't many great ones of those, a quality 550W unit will do. Seasonic G Series 550W - get that.

When the mains power fluctuates to a level that is beyond UPS automatic voltage regulation range causing the UPS to engage to battery mode. When the UPS is on battery mode and cant handle PC (gaming load) it will result in temporary power loss to the PC causing it to restart. The priority should go with the UPS first, secondly to the PSU (due to being a cheap stuff)

Asus anti-surge is directly related to voltage regulation which is all about the secondary of the power supply. He needs to replace that because it is Zebronics junk.
