Will Swiftech's H240 X2 fit fine into my Mastercase 5 Pro?

Ok, so Coolermaster claims that the MasterCase 5 Pro, despite having 280mm mounting holes in the top, can only fit a 240mm rad. However I read 280mm mounting holes in the top, can only fit a 240mm rad. Anyway, I read here that it should actually be possible. Also, the H240 X2 does not have such big bulges at the side of the radiator (pic here) like for example the h110i has (pic). Due to its pump and reservoir mount, the fans are on top of the H240 X2 anyway tho.

So my questions:
Can I actually fit the H240 X2 in the top? (I dont want a front mount)
Will the width make it impossible to mount something in the top optical drive tray?
Will the pump and reservoirs measurements interfere with my motherboard and RAM? (I have very standard RAM from corsair, regular measurements)

Thanks for your help

Do you have the case ? Then measure the length and width of the space. The dimensions of the H240X2 are on the site. Compare the dimensions. I oft make cardboard models of various components when doing a custom guild.

If you don't have the case, consider the Enthoo Luxe which will fit a 140 x 420

Did exactly as you told me (already using the case), solved many things I was unsure about. For anyone stumbling upon the thread: you won't be able to use the upper optical drive bay completely, the reservoir is blocking it. However, things that don't completely fill it (like this) should still fit. Since these sketches where all Swiftech provided (I even took a look at them before asking here) I had to watch some showcases to find out that the pump was definetly NOT interfering with the ram (proof).

Thanks for your help, will update again after the unit has been shipped to me.

Sorry I completely forgot about it. It fits, but not fine. Because of the size of the radiator (it doesn't fit in its "chamber") you either have to use very long self bought screws (through the radiator attachment, the fans and the radiotor) or, like I did, attach the fans to the radiator with 2 screws on each fan and then attach the fans with another 2 screws to the radiator attachment.

However for this method I recommend using a small extra medal plate with a hole to be placed above the radiator attachment so you don't screw through it (it's very thin medal)

If it wasn't obvious already, the screws only going through radiator and fans are below the attachment bracket.

The first expansion bay slot is limited in length. Something like a rgb controller would fit fine but not an optical DVD drive. The lower slot can be fully used however (however I wouldn't use something to sensitive, sometimes my pumps fittings rest a little bit on my DVD drive)

You WILL need someone else for helping you with mounting this, and since my unit leaked once I even had to take it out again. This was however a shipping failure.

Sorry for the late post. If you need more details, just contact me or reply to this. You can also contact me via Skype if you want to.

I might attach some pictures soon here.
