Hey guys,

So I ended up getting my build, I got the GFX card R9 380.

I also got PSU Fractal design 650W integra. I am trying to connect power to my gfx card, the power cord for my PCI-E came straight from the main wires that cant be removed from the PSU, so I plugged the 6 pin and 2 pin into my graphics card, but there is another power cord sticking out from it, its a bit hard to explain but it is like a parallel wire coming from the male join where I plugged in the power to the graphics, I think it is there so when I have two graphics cards, I just have one power cord and connect it into both. But since I dont have two, what do I do? Is it alright to just have another power socket coming from the cord just hanging there not plugged into anything, or is it a mistake. Hope you guys know what I mean.

Thanks

Many power supplies have two PCI-E power connectors on the same cable. You can just use one and leave the other disconnected if your card requires only one connector.
