I'm planning on building a PC for gaming with these parts:
Graphics card: Sapphire nitro r9 380
CPU: intel i5-4460
Motherboard: ASUS h97-plus
RAM: corsair vengeance (2x4gb)
SSD: kingston v300 120gb
Hard drive: WD blue 2tb

Would a corsair cx500m power supply be sufficient or would I need something of higher quality? And if so any recommendations on a better PSU?

Thanks for all of your answers. I've looked on the tom's hardware PSU tier list and I've decided on the EVGA supernova G2 550w because it fits in my budget and it's tier 1 on the list. You've recommended EVGA and it seems to be a good quality PSU so it'll be good enough for my needs. Thanks.

Admirable
It will be absolutely fine.
Until it suddenly stops working after a few years.
There are similar priced power supplies made by EVGA, Seasonic and others. Apparently these power supplies last a lot longer.
Something to do with Corsair using cheap capacitors.

Have a look on the toms hardware PSU tier list.
