Hello,

I have used an GTX 750 Ti successfully in an Optiplex 380 SFF for a few weeks now, last week it stopped working. I do not receive any signal from the HDMI port.

What I currently know:

- When the GTX750Ti is installed in the 380 the fans spin.

- When the GTX750Ti is installed in the 380 and the monitor is plugged into the on-board VGA the system recognises there is a GPU installed and asks to use the display output on the GPU.

- The GTX750Ti works on my other computer.

- I have tried a 500W PSU on the 380 in case the Dell 235W PSU was not sufficient to power the GTX750Ti, this did not help.

- Other HDMI devices work with the monitor I cannot get the 380/GTX750Ti working on.

- A07 Bios on the 380.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Solution
Look for swollen or stained capcitors on the motherboard. A TV repair shop can replace them if needed. Or just get another old Dell to play with. The GPU is worth more than the computer.
