Hi,

I have never seen an ES processor before and don't really know the difference. Only came across them because I saw them on Ebay.

So I was wondering if it was OK to buy one of them and if they would work like a normal CPU?

Thanks

ES processors are the property of Intel, and possessing one is illegal. You're probably not going to get into any trouble, but be aware that it's a black-market CPU.

Also, they're often early samples, which may not run stable at their rated clockspeed or have other bugs or instabilities.
