Computer won't start.

Hi, Recently I had my hard drive fail. So I acquired a new one and put a clean copy of windows on, Everything was going well until I went to put the hardrive into its slot to enclose the computer case, The gap was quite small and fiddly and I'm guessing ive dislodged something because the computer will not turn on at all. How did you put windows on the disk if it wasn't installed into the computer yet?

It was connected to the computer, It just wasn't inside the slot. I.e I left the case open and had it loose to make sure everything worked correctly first.

Hi there Andrew_141,

So your system will not power up at all? If this is the case, then I would suggest you to re seat all the components.
If your system will not boot, then you need to see if the HDD is spinning and go to BIOS in order to see if it is recognized over there.
