I bought 2x 8gb ddr4 3000nhz for my desktop. When it Oc to 3000mhz, i didn't see any different.

I got laptop ( run ddr3-1600mhz ), i saw in task manager ( 3-4GB / 16gb )

Now, i build Desktop with G.Skill ddr4 3000mhz.
_play 2133mhz, i saw task manager ( 3-4GB / 16gb )
_ Oc to 3000mhz, it still 3-4GB / 16gb ???

So... What's difference between 1600, 2133, 3000mhz ?

Solution
You already gave examples of common memory speeds. 1333Mhz, 1600, 1866, 2133, 2400, 3000
those are the speed the memory is running at which affects how fast data can be moved in & out from the memory.

The numbers you see: "3-4GB / 16gb"
Those are all sizes, not speeds. Size is how much data can be stored there.

To clarify, the higher speed memory will be able to move data in and out of your 16GB of ram quite a bit faster than the DDR3 can. How much it's using is NOT how fast it's running. With the DDR4, the data can move in and out faster, allowing your applications to also run faster, and provided that the ram was the bottleneck to begin with, BAM. Faster computer.
