Hello, I'd like some help building a new PC. It's been almost a decade since I've built my last system and I'd like to get back into PC gaming.

The budget can be flexible but I'd like to stay under it if possible and have it designed around a GTX 1080, Intel processor, and SSD as my main hard drive. I have a 4K monitor and I would like to play current titles at max settings. I'm not interested in overclocking (but it would be nice) and I don't plan on running SLI (but it would be nice).

In addition, this is going to be my main work station. When the PC is not loaded up, I'd like it to be relatively quiet.

This should meet your needs and will run quiet when not under load.

Solution
Good build to keep under budget but not overclockable. K cpu and Z mobo will go a long way towards keeping things running smooth over several years.

Keep in mind that at 4k ultra there are several games that won't hit 60fps average on a 1080 (just turn some AA down).
