Here is my current set up:
CPU: Intel I7 4790K 4.5GHz overclocked
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H ATX
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB 2133
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD
Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB HHD
Video Card: GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked. Overclocked
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Mid tower
Power Supply: Rosewill Capstone 750W 80+ Gold
Fans: 3 exhaust fans, 3 intake fans. Idling at 32 degrees.

Could you tell me what sort of performance i should be getting?
About 2 years ago, i got this setup spending little over $1K.
I have been watching some youtube videos of PC build for $1 K. It seems that they are getting better performance than my setup.. :(

I thought i have a decent set up :(
I use the pc for Photoshop rendering and League of Legend gaming. ( i get about 60 FPS)
Usually, i play LoL on my large monitor and play videos on my Wacom Cintiq.
After overclocking, Video card, i get little to no lag while playing LoL and playing video at the same time.

Maybe Video card is throwing off my benchmark and overall performance.. i don't know!

Solution
Your hardware is more than up to the task - your CPU is still pretty much top-end, and your GPU is high-end. Plus, league of legends runs pretty well on integrated graphics, and your GPU is probably in the range of 10x faster, or more, than integrated graphics. My guess is that it's a software issue.

i like to multi task haha. watching video while playing game. I know it will drag the performance down. Is my set up not capable of doing this flawlessly?

CPU is OCed to 4.5 or 4.4.
DRAM is running at 1866 with 9, 9, 9, 27 ( i can't remember if my memory card is 2133 or 1866 capable)
I do have the latest BIOS and GPU.

So would you say that my GPU is considered lower end compared to other components i have? say compared to, PS, memory card, motherboard and CPU.

Another question is, can i stack up another GPU of same one? GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked
If it is possible, then is it better to stack up or just buy something else ? ( which GPU do you suggest? something 2x or 3x better than what i have)

THanks

Really!?
How would you say i should fix or diagnose the "software issue"?
I just ran XTU benchmark. Not sure if this score looks right for my set up. Itll be nice if i can get up to 2000 score :p

i upped my OC to 4.5 from 4.4 BTW. Idling at 45 degrees. Max temp at 81 using XTU benchmark.

I always use Chrome youtube video. (Win 10)

My Wacom Cintiq is connected to GPU.

PS. Does my XTU score seem reasonable for my set up?

I don't have it installed anymore, but your IBT numbers look as they should.

BTW, the extra 100mhz is probably unnoticeable. It certainly can't hurt, but it's really only a 2% clockspeed increase, and most people can't see a difference if it's less than 25-35%.

Honestly couldn't tell you. I know Chrome has some GPU acceleration, but you might try a different browser, just to see if you still have issues.
